Home Lazer Hair Removal?

Hey ladies. I am researching different hair removal methods and their efficacy. Has anyone tried home lazer hair removal devices? How did it work for you? Was the cost worth it in your opinion? 
I am light skinned with dark hair, and from what I understand this combo has higher results. 
I'd really appreciate your imput!

I had professional treatments done on my face, about 17 treatments since 2012 and I still battle with facial hair. I plan on getting an at home system because honestly it’s just crazy that the place I go to will start the treatments from the lowest setting if I don’t go for 6 months.

It takes so much time and it’s like a sting every cm. Mine also says I should use it after shaving but not on open cuts or blemishes so here I am with acne from ingrown hair and nicks from shaving unable to use it.

I'm skeptical of their efficiency tbh. A lot of stuff like that has so many fake reviews it's hard to trust them. I'd never spend the money on it. I'll just keep shaving lol
