So I recently had to buy another BBT thermometer because I couldn’t find mine, but then I ended up finding my old one.. I recorded my temp with the new one cause I wanted to try it out. It took almost three minutes to record a temp of 98.25. I wondered if I would get close results if I temped with my old one which only takes about 30 seconds to temp. When I did, I got 97.97 the first time. Then I temped right after again & got 97.86.

That’s a significant difference so I’m wondering if anyone knows which reading is more accurate .. the longer one or the shorter one. I barely moved when I retook the last two on my old thermometer
