Any one ever done laparoscopy or hysterecopy how was your experience?

I'll apologize as this will be long! Lol. In 2018 I started fertility treatments. My PCOS was pretty severe and I chalk a lot of that up to years on BCP. Anyway, I started with stairstepped rounds if clomid: no ovulation. We did that for 3 cycles (which would be 6 rounds of clomid technically) and still no ovulation. Then we tried 1 cycle low that on femara: again, no ovulation. So I had a choice between drilling my ovaries or adding injectables. However, with a lot of follicles, egg quality can suffer severely. 
So, I had an "exploratory" laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. I had it with the intention of ovarian drilling, HSG, and D&C to clean me all out and give me the best chances of conception after. In that survey he found endometriosis, excised what he could, and took my appendix. It was an extensive survey. 
The pros: I have regular periods and ovulate on stim meds now (and sometimes without them). I also don't spot as much. 
Cons: I did 2 months medicated times intercourse after, moved and sought an RE where i did 3 medicated IUIs, 1 medicated timed intercourse, and a round of IVF. Still not pregnant. I would do the surgery again, though.

Ya was a super easy surgery. Still trying for baby after 6 months from surgery. Had 3 incisions and endometriosis removed along with polyp. A week and i was fine

Yes, last year in March. I had been in the hospital 2 weeks before for what they thought was PID, turned out to be a giant cyst behind my uterus that the ER doctors failed to catch. The laparoscopy went well, the recovery was horrible for me. It’ll be a year next month since and still not pregnant. I’ve done cycles of Femera and all it has done is made me feel really off, sad, depressed. So I stopped after the last cycle and I am feeling so much better. I did notice after the laparoscopy my sex drive went down the drain, but I am slowly gaining it back. No endo so that was a plus!
