Has anyone gotten drunk when there baby was 2 weeks old ?

I’ve had a glass of wine and I’m a little buzzed and want one more lol. Idk if that’s okay though. My husband is sober and watching her . I feel kind of bad

You just went 9+ months without drinking. If you want let loose for a night and baby is taken care of by a responsible sober adult that you trust go for it! Celebrate! You deserve it! Just because your a Mama now doesn't mean you dont get to have fun every now and then.

Buzzed isn’t drunk. And even if you were your husband is caring for baby. Let loose and enjoy it! You deserve it!! 
And if you’re breastfeeding, if you’re sober enough to drive your sober enough to nurse/pump.
Just make sure to drink a glass of water between drinks too! 👍🏻 Enjoy!

I have a glass of wine every now and then since my son was born, but my fiancé is always there and I don’t drink enough to get drunk. He is a month old now. If I do drink a glass of wine, my buzz usually only lasts an hour. It’s not really for the feeling when I drink wine though, I love the flavor! I won’t drink hard alcohol until my son is older and doesn’t need me as much as he does. He is exclusively formula fed, but he still loves and wants his mommy most of the time rather than anyone else.

I did when I had my 10 year old. My bf had a performance we had this thing planned a year before I was even pregnant. I was nervous and chugged a damn adios MF. Not realizing how strong it was. 😳 i also didn’t realize I had a bench warming warrant. My friend was driving me home, he got pulled over.  Next thing I know.. I’m sitting in a jail cell, expressing breast milk into thin air.

Your wine at home with hubby sounds perfectly fine! 😂

I’m not sure if you’re breastfeeding but the rule that I followed was if you can drive, you can breastfeed. 
Other than that, go for it. If someone is there to take care of baby, enjoy another glass.

Omg kinda different but I had one 10 oz hard coffee 1 week pp and I couldn’t even finish it I felt so buzzed. I used to be able to handle so much! Now I feel lame haha. I did get a bottle of wine so gonna try again. Not a huge drinker anymore though

I was super sensitive after  I gave birth. I did get drunk when my twins were 4 months I had gone away for a girls night hubby was with kids and I pump and dumped cause I felt I drank too much to just wait it out. Worst feeling ever I dumped like 14 oz and I think that maybe the main reason I haven’t done it since lol

As long as hubby is ok then baby is ok. My husband thought it was funny when I first had a few drinks and we played cards against humanity... just be careful if you are breastfeeding or pumping and wait until you feel ok to do it😁
