What to eat and drink during labor?

I’m a first time Mom and want to know what can I bring while I’m in labor? I’m being induce tomorrow. 🙏🏼

To be honest, I don’t remember eating anything throughout my labor. 
I guess it makes sense not to eat in case you need an emergency operation.

Water,  ice, water or there's always ice. Trust me girl,  you won't be thinking about food.

I wasn’t allowed anything to eat just in case I required an emergency section. My partner kept sneaking me chocolate to keep me going. 😂

I ate French onion soup and Caesar salad after my water broke and I was in the hospital.  Fast forward to 6am emergency csection the next morning—threw up everything and more after surgery......

Eat beforehand. When I was induced they said once they started pitocin I had to have an empty stomach. I was induced Tuesday and had her Thursday afternoon. Not once did I think about food. My trays were all clear liquid/broth. All the ice.

strong chance you wont. best to eat good before hand & bring snacks but once you get into it you wont be able to eat. & i actually had no desire to eat by the time i was admitted.  i had chickfila breakfast like 8 am the day i went to hospital wasn’t admitted til like 1p officially.  didnt eat again til next day after baby was born 7am lol

My doctor told me to eat a big meal before coming to be induced because I wouldn’t be eating after they started the induction. I snuck some trail mix in after and threw it all up anyway 🤦🏻‍♀️

Most hospitals won’t want you to eat anything due to if they happen to do a c section it could risk something, I forget what it is. 
But honestly I wasn’t worried about eating when I’m labor anyways. I would say healthy light snacks...banana, fruit, crackers, etc. 
and water.
