Prevention after giving birth
Not sure which group to post this topic in so hopefully this ones ok?
So I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant. I’m 27 years old and it took me a years to finally get pregnant with a healthy pregnancy. I do not have PCOS but I do not ovulate regularly. My cycles are pretty irregular.
As far as having more kids or not, I’m starting to consider what I’ll do after I give birth to our baby girl. We wouldn’t want to have another baby right away though. And honestly, I think we would both be perfectly happy with only having one baby since it took so long but we really haven’t decided yet one way or the other.
So the point I’m trying to get at is - would it make sense for me to go on birth control when the baby is born until we’ve decided? I’m so torn. I’m wondering if anyone else has been in this similar situation.
I haven’t been on birth control in 9 years. And I already have a hard time getting pregnant. So I feel like I should be okay without it, shouldn’t I? Idk what’s everyone think?
