Good baby monitor with two cameras?

Moms/Dads please help!

Why is it so hard to find a good baby monitor with two cameras? Our current unit just broke due to getting too cold (-13 driving up north) and then the condensation when it warmed up) destroyed the camera.

Im not asking for much;

1. I want to turn the screen off at night and still hear

2. Auto scan between cameras for when Owen is here (split screen not needed)

3. Good sound quality/ decent picture (sound is more important)

And the most important to me

4. No white noise/feedback on the parent monitor!!!!!!!! It sits on the stand right next to my head when I sleep and I have a hard time sleeping if all I hear is buzzing.

I loved my monitor, the unit we had worked perfectly for us but the additional cameras were no longer available OR cost as much as a new set. However it was the second one we had to get because the first would loose pairing all the time- it didn’t have the best reviews when we got it and It now has only 2 stars and that makes me nervous to buy again. I ended up trying a different version of the same monitor and the buzzing on the parent unit kept me up all night.

We had the Motorola MBP36XL portable monitor. I loved the big screen and it did everything I needed it to and it was quite (again only the second time around after it was warranted out) my MIL also has the same unit and it not as quiet as ours was.

I’m totally lost at which one to choose I feel like it’s impossible to be happy with anything at this point. We are trying out the infant optics zoom model tonight and I can already tell the parent unit has A LOT of buzzing..
