To start off my mil bought a house a couple of years ago. The people she bought the house from left the refrigerator and now it has went out. My husband and I had given her the one that we used for our garage a couple month back and she stored it in her garage so when the one she has goes out. Well today she asked my husband to go put it in her house. But then my brother in law asked us to go with him to look for a refrigerator with it (assuming we would help buy) we told him that she already has one that we gave her but he told us that she said she wants a brand new one because the one we gave her is old. (4 years old) and she can’t afford to buy a new refrigerator so she expects her kids to buy it. Mind you I’m 23 weeks pregnant so any money extra we have I would like to go to the baby or bills. Btw she moved in when I was pregnant with my first for 6 months rent free didn’t help pay bills or food. And when I got pregnant with my second her basement flooded so she has all of her kids including us buy her a new furnace. What are your thoughts? I don’t want to help put money in since she has one we gave her that’s just not good enough for her.
