i recently found out i have mild hpv. i told my partner and he wants to know what he should do. my doctor told me to consider getting the gardasil vaccine, which i am getting but i have no idea what to tell my partner to do.

Men can get the vaccine as well. My husband and I both did because I had HPV also. The following year when I had my pap it didn’t show up and hasn’t since 2014.

Why vaccinate if you already have it? 
Your immune system will likley just get it under control and clear it. Watch it carefully, go to the dr for paps every 6 months and take it from there.
The entire world has HPV unfortunately. It's rare it turns into cancer, and it 100% controllable if you keep tabs on it.
