Sperm leaked out from opening of condom at the base

So, I’ve gone off BC since we plan on trying for our third in July so I’ve been monitoring my ovulation and using condoms. We hadn’t had sex in a week and after he came he noticed that the sperm had gushed out from the base (or opening on the bottom) and apparently he had thrusted at least 10 more times after he had came. This happened to take place a day before I ovulated. Although, I’m prepared to get pregnant again, I had been pregnant for 3 years straight with only 3 months in between each pregnancy ( second was a miscarriage) and I now have a 6 month and a 2 yr old and was HOPING to have almost a year to just reset. Anyways, was just wondering if this happened to anyone else and what the outcome was... at first I thought there was no way it could land in having a baby but then .... he basically was moving it all up there so... I just don’t know.
