Which is worse?

Question

Co sleeping or having baby sleep in a rock & play?
With three kids, I'm guilty of doing all of it at some point, both accidental & intentional. 
Not looking for a debate, just curious of opinions

Bed sharing is safer if the safe sleep 7 is followed.  If you can’t manage that though, put baby in a crib or bassinet.  Positional asphyxiation does happen and if your asleep alone while baby is in a device then you’re not even going to notice.  
I bed share, follow the safe sleep 7, and use an owlet.  I’d rather he sleep alone but he just absolutely refuses.

Co sleeping is recommended. sleeping in the same room in separate sleep spaces, them on their back with nothing in the crib or bassinet. I think you are referring to bed sharing. Bed sharing and having a baby in a rock and play are both equally dangerous. Baby can suffocate in an adult bed- adult mattresses  aren’t firm enough. And blankets and pillows, a parent can roll on them or they can fall off the bed, or get stuck between the wall and bed. Rock and play was recalled bc babies have died in them for various reasons. Some weren’t being buckled and were rolling out. Some were rolling over completely and suffocating. And some were buckled properly but died from positional asphyxiation. Neither bed sharing or rock n play are worth the risks.

Bed sharing is not dangerous IF done properly. Please stop fear mongering. I don't know enough about the rock n play to speak about that but I think they were recalled which makes them dangerous.

Co sleeping is having baby in the same room but not in same bed. 
And rock n plays are NOT meant for sleeping at all. They are recalled and fda is trying to ban them. They are false advertised for sleeping. Positional asphyxiation happens while in a RNP.

They are both dangerous. 
But, I've co slept (in same bed) with my oldest for about 2 weeks and then switched her to her crib. And she only was in her rock and play, when I was sitting there with her watching her. 
My youngest, I co slept (same bed) until she was 4 months old and then switched her to her crib. And she never had a rock and play. But she did lay in little seats that would lay back and keep her seated properly. And again, I was there watching 24/7 while she was in the seats.

I could never ever bed share. There are times that I’m so sleep deprived that my baby can be fussy in his crib, I wake up to get him but immediately pass right out and thankfully my husband he there to take over. I couldn’t imagine having my baby next to me in bed with me like that. I also love a lot in my sleep and wouldn’t want to risk crushing/sigfocatibg him.

I cosleep and use an owlet. She had reflux and would choke every night in the beginning and I could hear her since she is right next to me. The smallest sound would stir me awake.
I get my daughter to sleep in my arms and then lay her in her sleep nest. She sleeps on the left side which is against the wall and my partner and I sleep on the right in a thin throw type blanket (we get hot). I have fallen asleep bed sharing with her also and nothing has happened. But I prefer her sleeper, I think it depends on how safe you do it. People bed share, co sleep, etc. i don’t know if I’d put my baby in her pac n play to sleep other than nap because mine rolls, has a bunch of pieces and stuff that just would give me anxiety.

By cosleeping I'm going to assume you mean bedsharing. In that case, it is possible to safely bedshare (you have to follow a bunch of strict rules but it's doable) and rock n plays were recalled because babies would die sleeping in them. Babies should be supervised, awake, unswaddled, and buckled in while in a rock n play. People were breaking those rules and babies died. Rock n plays are not for sleep.
