Second day of metformin and I can't stop pooping. Please tell me this will improve with time.

Ask your doctor for the XR Metformin. I had the same issues. I switched right away and I've been taking it since August 2019 with NO problems

I’ve just started metformin (third dose today), I had horrible cramps, diarrhoea and wanted to throw up all day. Last night when I took it I have food immediately after and I have felt fine today.. 
I’ve been prescribed 500mg (1 tablet for a week) and then increase it every week until I’m having 3 tablets everyday.

It comes and goes for me. I have less issues if I take it while I am eating. Not before, not after. Like between bites.

I heard it gives you stomach issues. There are natural supplements to take instead of Metformin

It went away for me! It took about a month, I lost some weight! Lol

Mine never went away..I could not keep anything in me.  I was both ways and Dr finally had to take me off because it only got worse for me.

I had that the entire time i was on metformin. It got so bad that i had to stop taking it. I couldnt even leave the house at that point.
