Are BMI’s accurate?

Question

I calculated my BMI online and it says I am quite underweight. I’m 49kg, 19 years old and 5’7 tall.
I’m currently trying to lose weight because I find my body is quite uneven as I have thin arms and legs but weight around my stomach. If i try to lose anymore stomach fat is it dangerous I don’t see myself as underweight at all

Not too accurate but having a lot of weight around your stomach means you’re at higher risk for health issues. Instead of weight loss concentrate on building muscle and toning body.

In general, BMI is garbage and doesn't measure anything but that height and weight, you sound rail thin! Please don't lose any weight!!! Please focus on toning up and building muscle if you feel disproportionate.

It doesn’t sound like you need to lose any more weight!! Definitely please don’t!! If anything you’re safe to gain? 
What can make BMI unreliable, is that it doesn’t take into account your levels of muscle compared to fat. For instance if you had a higher BMI purely due to muscle mass rather than fat, it doesnt mean you are overweight or unhealthy. 
Maybe you just need to focus on gaining muscle, in order to feel like your more in proportion?
