Like will just wave ‘bye bye’ randomly in the middle of playing?

Sometimes if she hears something like the door opening or closing shell just start waving. It actually broke my heart this morning because my husband left for the field (army) this morning, and we heard/felt a boom from a range that shook the house, it sounded like the door opening so she started waving and saying hi looking for my husband. I hated telling her he wont be home for a few days, then around the time he should've been home this evening she kept saying "dada" 😭😭

My son was waving and saying hi to absolutely no one in the grocery store. He was just saying hi to anything. He’d get excited when there was actually a person to say it to.

Yes, sometimes it’s not in context at all and sometimes it’s to people he wants to leave 😂
