What’s up with early positives?!

I’m happy for you all, but how am I seeing all these positives at 8, 9, 10 DPO. All the doctors say wait to test until a missed period. I thought it was rare to get a positive before 13 DPO. 
Anyone else out there confused by this?! Do we really need to wait until missed period to test?
I’ve never been pregnant so not sure what to expect 🤷🏽‍♀️

Every womans body is different. If we were supposed to wait until our missed period then why are there tests that detect up to 6 days before the missed period 🤔 some women implant on 6 dpo and some as late as 12dpo. I didn't wait to test just because everyone else does. I took a test for the heck of it thinking I couldn't be pregnant and apparently I was and that was on 9dpo at night.

It just depends on when you implant. Can be anywhere from 6-12dpo. In all my pregnancies I’ve implanted early and got a very clear positive at 9dpo. However, some people may not have implanted at that point. If you implant 12dpo you would get a visible positive at about 14dpo or when your period is due. You can test earlier, but to avoid discouragement it’s better to wait. Just because you don’t get a positive around 8-10dpo doesn’t mean your out!

Agreed. I feel like we all try to wait until our periods but I don’t. I hate that I don’t and I’m going to try so hard this cycle not to.
