Cradle cap cure?!

Has anyone actually cured their baby’s cradle cap? I’ve tried everything...Vaseline, tubby Todd’s, two different brushes, etc, and he still has it! Its starting to smell now too. The most that happens is that it gets moisturized instead of dry, but the yellow patches still are there.

We just bath him 2-3 times a week and his cradle cap is almost gone. It’s been about 2-3 weeks and his whole head is almost completely healed.

Trial and error I think. Mine had it. I know your not supposed to bath baby everyday but bcz he had sensitive skin had heat rash, baby acne and cradle cap I tried many different products to see what helped the most. Natural organic stuff helped mine the most out of other baby products. Mine was called eco baby and olive oil products. Id massage the oil into his hair comb through it a little then give him his bath and wash it out. The next day before I bath him Id gentle use a comb to go through his hair and loosen up as much scales, heap came off. Then proceed with the oil massage and bath. I also used a tiny amount of an olive body sugar scrub on the dry patches on his face (cheeks and chin) so the olive balm helps get in there to soothe his skin. It worked for me. You just gotta try heaps of things. If you can get travel or trial packs of different baby products to try out thats a money saver, especially if it doesnt work out for you.

Washed my baby’s hair with coconut oil, rinsed it, when she got out of the bath, it came up like a charm with her brush. Rinsing it didn’t get it all out, so I let it sit overnight & washed her hair again the next day & it hasn’t been back since!

Coconut oil worked well for my son. Put it in 20-30 minutes before bath time to loosen up the skin and then comb/brush it off afterwards. Takes a couple times but then they come up

I did everything as well, we to the pediatrician and she prescribed steroid cream bc she said it was cradle cap and eczema. Cleared up in 24 hours!

It looks gross,  but doesn't hurt them.  Normal for babies.

A little bit of baby oil on the effected spots after I give him a bath, then gently comb the area in circles had helped prevent it from getting worse. I used to have it pretty bad as a baby and my daughter had it. So this time I’m doing some preventatives
