I’m 14 weeks almost 15 weeks and just had my second appointment with my newer OB ( I had a midwife before with my first, they made me switch cause twins) and she has yet to give me a vaginal exam, at my first she said we’d do it at my next appointment. She had me even take my own std swabs, at my first and today. She does check the babies on ultra sound but doesn’t touch my belly or anything. I’ve been having a lot of pelvic and lower back pain and she just said that’s normal, I have a very physical job and told her I’m worried because the pain increases after a hard work day and she just said nothing I do at this point is going to hurt the babies or but me at rush for preterm labor- Idk if I’m worrying to much or if she lacks experience with twins. I guess I’m just curious about your experience with your OB. She is only seeing me once a month and my first appt with MFM isn’t till 17 weeks and she doesn’t seem concerned. Idk I’m just new to this twins stuff and seems like others are getting more comprehensive care.
