First birthday ideas?

Hi,
My son is currently 7 months and turns one in July. His birthday is luckily a Saturday (🥳🥳) because I’ll be back at work by that time, but it means we can celebrate his actual birthday! 
Anyways, I’m wondering in anyone has any suggestions of good first birthday ideas. We’re in the East Midlands/South Yorkshire boarder if that makes a difference.

My son had his 1st birthday last August. We went skegness, zoo and sea world. Then on the weekend we had a little family party.

We had family round for nibbles and cake the weekend before my daughters first birthday, and then on the actual day (wed) we went to a local wildlife park with my MIL (who was over from the states) and my SIL. Was a really nice day, not too crazy and my daughter enjoyed seeing all the animals.

Yeah for my sons first we just had a family gathering, had a bbq and got a bouncy castle for the big kids (and adults) his birthday is also in July so it’s the ideal weather. Maybe a swimming pool and let you LO go wild for the day😊🤷🏼‍♀️

We did a family gathering at the house with the paddling pool out, a BBQ and some soft play as ours was in the summer too! There are places you can hire and hire soft play too if you wanted somewhere bigger, or how about hiring a play area etc? Xx
