Need to vent

Omg! So the president had a rally today where I live. I had to go get my eldest from school 20 mins away. He hadn’t even landed yet on the 20 min trip back. So driving home about 1 road from where my neighborhood is road closed police making everyone turn around. So try to go to the next major road to get into my neighborhood, closed! From 3:00pm-4:30 poor baby was stuck in the car! Made it to my dads house and he was checking roads and ZERO roads were open to get to my area of town, all shut down. Finally my dad saw going way east 30 mins out was open so we went for it....by the time we got there shut down again for president to leave! Figured I’d go back across town to the highway, nope closed shut down. Every way closed for 6+ hours today! My anxiety was so bad poor baby and myself just wanted to go home! We spent 2 hours in a king super parking lot before roads opened back up and the backed up traffic to move freely. It was so miserable I broke down and cried because there was no place to go we were just stuck! Any way finally home baby finally ate and is sleeping and now I’m going to pass out! It was so stressful and made no sense to block every road like that!
