boyfriend isn’t happy I’m moving schools

So right now I go to a private school with my best friend and I’ve never liked my school and it’s been effecting my mental health and happiness so I’ve decided I need a fresh start. I applied for a school that some of my other close friends go to and my best fiend is also gonna move there but “next year”. Dad sent an email to the school and I wasn’t expecting to get in so quickly, the new school is telling me I can start next Thursday. I don’t know what to do because my best fiend is gonna be unhappy and my boyfriend hates the idea of me moving schools because there’s gonna be other guys there. It’s making me nervous and anxious and double think my decision. I need advice!!!!
