What hair color looks best?

So I recently colored my hair and it looks black!! As shown In the first photo, it was suppose to be a dark chocolate brown not black. I didn’t want black but will wait Swahili encore coloring my hair again. Do I look better with brown or black?  I used a app lol I used permanent dye from One and Only argon oil at Sally’s with volume 10 developer (what employee recommended)

Personally, I like the dark hair the most. If you want to fade it, Vitamin C with head and shoulders works, but expect to have red-ish brown color and it takes a few washes. I’ve done 3 so far to lighten some old color and reduce a color band from old dye to new growth.

The black should fade pretty fast. I believe head and shoulders will strip it if you want it lighter.
