Is to ok to freeze baby food

Hi mama’s, been struggling to keep up with giving my boy purée because Of how often I have to make them.

I would like to keep making them instead of buying already made ones from the store.

I have seen videos of people freezing purées in ice cube trays. It’s not the freshest but it save a lot of time having them in the freezer

Do you guys think it’s a good idea to make a ton and freeze?

Edit: my mum freaked when I told her I was considering freezing he’s food. She doesn’t think baby food should be frozen
