What to do in the winter with 8 month old?

Any tips on activities to try with my 8 month old to fight the winter blues? We live in Minnesota and I often am home alone with my 8 month old.  Our only excitement for the day is going grocery shopping and to the mall a couple days a week. I want to take her out and do more just to keep busy. If I don’t I get such bad winger blues. What do you do with your baby that you both enjoy?

I wish I could help. Every time I bundle him up and take him out in his sleigh he falls asleep. Then I’m like... wait a minute. Nap time is my time to get stuff done. Why the hell am I out here pulling this sleigh 😂

Do you have an baby groups near you? We go to a sensory group every wed called ‘glow bugs’, we also go to a group at a local church on a Tuesday which is songs and actions first then tea and cakes and a chat after while the babies and toddlers play, we also go to our local library once a week for a sing along with other children and their parents. I’ve also taken her to our local ‘soft play’ I don’t know if they have them where you are? It’s slides and padded stairs and ball pits etc she loved that! It’s free for under ones too so it only costs me a hot drink while I’m there! This is the one we went to:

Then today I took her swimming she came down the lowest slide with me on my lap and I took a swim float which she liked to sit in and splash about 😊

No advice just here to say I feel ya! All of the story times and activities around here are at 10 AM and that’s my girls nap time

MN has classes called Ecfe. Our local school has them, check it out! I’m in SE MN and it’s our weekly outing! (It’s more for my toddler but June baby has fun watching all the kids)
