Hey y'all so I am twenty years old and after many many many years of basically being treated like I'm crazy a gynecologist finally took me seriously and wound up diagnosig me with PCOS. Many women in my family end up with PCOS so it wasn't a surprise outside of holy Crayola I've gone undiagnosed for so damn long. So my new gynecologist recommended trying to treat it with an IUD as soon as possible. I've never tried an IUD before and was wondering if anyone could tell me if it helped them? Any reason to avoid an IUD? What's the insertion process like? If anyone could give me any advice I'd appreciate it.
