If your regular like a 28 day cycle I will say start on cycle day 8. 
For me I have supper long cycles. I’ve come a long way to knowing my body and paying attention to signs. I’m on cycle day 40 today and yesterday I noticed I felt more wet so I took a opk and it came back positive today my side is cramping and I took a test and it’s positive. So just because I know my body a bit more I don’t test all month until I feel the change in my body I basically just use it to confirm it.

If it’s your first time tracking I would start as early as a couple of days after your periods finished. Once you start to see the lines darken start testing at least twice a day.

I usually ovulate around CD17.  I start testing at least four days before just to make sure I catch it if I am earlier than usual.
