Straining while pooping ?

I am taking iron supplements and antibiotics and I am so constipated, I had a bowel movement today but I had to strain myself to go and i strained pretty hard, baby moved a few times while I was going, this won’t hurt baby will it?

I personally recommend Miralax. It doesn’t work instantly (you may need to take it for a few days) but it helps immensely!

A stool softener, prune juice or prunes, raisin Bran,lots of water are all things to help your stool become looser and not so hard compacted.

Take a stool softener every day or every other day. It doesn’t make you go, just makes it easier to go. I’m 32 weeks with my second and I wish I would have thought to take them when I was pregnant with my first.
