Cortizone 10 eczema while pregnant?

Doctors appointment isn't for a week or so and I'm pretty sure I have a form of eczema called Dyshidrotic eczema on my hands. I've had it twice now but this time it's 10 times worst and itches and is so bad, is cortizone safe to use while I'm 7 weeks pregnant? I don't know what else to buy for my hands. I tried triple antibiotic ointment at first when I had no idea what it was and it does nothing

I have it and I was told I can use benadryl cream and it worked wonders

I have always had eczema flare ups in times of stress (and pregnancy is a stress on your body systems so I definitely have flare ups now). My doctor gave me the ok to use creams like that, but SPARINGLY. Save it for the really intense spots and moments. If I take the temperature of my showers down and keep my skin ultra moisturized all the time it helps, but for those spots that just won't quit (my elbow creases and shins) the cortisone cream was ok for time when it was unbearable.

Eczema is a sign of an underlying allergy. I’ve struggled with it off and on (mostly while pregnant) and deeply hydrating lotions have helped (specifically the brand Shea Moisture) but I’ve never had cortizone help me personally. My daughter gets it too, and the only time hers will go away is if we cut out all foods, soaps, etc with red40 in them - the more she has of those things, the worse her eczema is. Her grandparents give her whatever when she’s there, so she’ll come home after scratching and it’ll bleed here and there. Only thing that clears it up at that point is Rawleigh salve - I ordered it off of amazon. Clears it up within 1-2 days.
