Baby won’t stop feeding the dog

So when my lo was about 6 months he would knock food off his high chair onto the floor and the dog would clean it up. I said he isn’t in control it’s a motor skill thing. Now at 11 months he has been consistently doing it. I stood next to him one day between him and the dog and he had a tantrum. When I moved he fed the dog and laughed. It’s not a huge deal as I know LO and the dog are well fed but it made me wonder how my child trained my dog better than I have in 5 short months. He literally bangs his hand the dog comes and he feeds him. The dog gives him a kiss and walks away. My husband laughs at me when I say that the dog and kid are plotting against us.
