Do you guys fall asleep if your baby is awake in their bassinet?

Shes fed, changed and happy. She’s wide awake and I’m exhausted but I’m like... can I go to sleep??🙄😂

Nope couldn’t with my first still can’t with my third 🤦🏼‍♀️ with my first it was out of fear something would happen to baby. Now with my third it’s more because I know it will be easier to stay awake and get up with her if need be than fall asleep and have to rewake up if I end up needing to get up with her.

Omg I feel the same. I can’t ever do it until she’s asleep but I’ve heard that as long as they’ve been fed and changed I think some do it as long as there not crying. Idk though

I probably wouldn’t have when my first was a newborn, but I’m more likely to do it with #2 as long as she is in a safe place.

Yes, as long as they are on a safe sleeping surface with no loose fabric.

You can, but for some it’s hard to. I usually feel like the moment I’ll fall asleep she’ll start crying. But I say get rest when you can, as long as she’s safe and taken care of.
