Weaning from formula?

Howd you guys do it with those that have had other LOs? Formula is so expensive and being that my LO is almost a year old I want to start slowly weaning her. She eats solids really well, in fact she almost prefers them.

We just switch right over to cows milk. My other boys never had a issue with switching right over.

My daughter just had 6oz of whole milk like nothing! She did the same from breastmilk to formula like a champ. Unfortunately she doesn’t do much solids but I feel like the lack of formula will help. I thought I would have to work harder but I didn’t, I just went for it.

I’ve been doing 3/4 formula and 1/4 whole milk, soon I’ll do half and half and then 3/4 whole milk until I end up with 100% milk! :)

We add some to his sippy cups with formula or we just do a full sippy of whole milk

I've been adding bit by bit to her formula and also giving her a glass of milk with meals. She only drinks an oz or so at meals but getting her used to the idea for when shes done with bottles soon.

Right now we are at 4oz formula 2 oz milk for all bottles (we are peobably cutting out all the day bottles aince he eats like an ounce from them) and straight milk with snacks and lunch
