Always call the police for domestic abuse. If he will hit the mother of his children, what will stop him from hitting the children next? Neither the wife or kids deserve that and need to get out of that situation.

Call the cops, press charges, get a protective order, and file for divorce. My child deserves for me to set an example of what should be done in an abusive situation, and you bet your ass that isn’t “making it work so we can be a family”
