Possibly stressing myself out more than I should with so many questions, but first let me explain. — I am currently on day 165 of my cycle. I have been on the pill/NuvaRing & I have decided Birth Control isnt what I want. I have finally been able to go to the Doctor (after changing insurances) in regards to my irregular menstrual cycle after stopping my BC. My thyroid is completely okay, but I did blood work to find that I produce more testosterone than normal. My doctor stated that all my symptoms lead to PCOS. After a long discussion it has come up that I start taking Provera to see if this will help with my MC. So my questions are,

1. How well did Provera work for you?

2. Were you able to stop taking Provera after a little while?

3. Is it possible to become pregnant while taking Provera? I mean, after I take the pills for 10 days & I start my cycle?

4. What were you side effects while taking it?
