Cloth Diapers

Alright cloth diapering mommas/daddas!

I think I’ve decided on Motherease Wizard Duo, with added inserts as needed.

I wanna know, what did you use and how many did you need? Is it that important to purchase newborn, small and large. Or, can we get by with a one size fit all accommodation. Also, are separate speciality night time cloth diapers worth it?

Thanks in advance ladies (and men)!

I use 'one size fits all' with a bamboo insert in the day and then a bamboo plus charcoal during the night...works for us so far but my babe is only 12 weeks. I've got 30 nappies to wash every other to every 3rd day x

Heya 😊One size fits all is actually one size fits most - birth to potty normally don't fit till baby is at least 2 months, it's their skinny little thighs lol, so you are likely to want something to bridge that gap be it newborn pockets or muslins and wraps.Night nappies are def needed once baby starts sleeping longer and no longer needs changing at night (ie when they stop pooping at night) - the average pocket lasts 2-3 hours, so wouldn't stand a chance at night. Two part systems work best at night, e.g. fitted bamboo like little lamb or bamboozle, boosted with bamboo or hemp, plus a wrap. These can normally go 12+hrs unless you have an extremely heavy wetter, in which case it's worth looking into wool soakers and extra boosting.I've used sized fitted nappies (Little Lambs with Motherease Airflow wraps) since birth, still on size 1 now at 5 months, prob move to size 2 around 7 months and this should last till potty, but if not there is size 3 available x
