Baby outgrew bassinet, what next?

My son still sleeps in the same room as me and he’s now outgrown his bassinet. I was going to use the pack and play but when I looked at the weight limit on the raised bassinet it’s 15lbs. So, not able to use that either. I’ve googled many bassinets and for most he’s either past the weight limit or will be too soon. Any suggestions??

Switch to the pack and play but not the bassinet part. Just the big flat part raised until he can sit up and then lower it.

We moved the crib to our room. We are going to give her time to adjust to the new big bed and in the next month move her to her nursery. At least she will be adjusted to one new thing already!

We moved our little one to her crib in her room when this happened. You could also use the bottom part of the pack and play

Thank you all for your input. I am just not ready to have him sleep in his nursery yet alone! Aside from that, for his naps I put him in his crib with his bumper inside because he moves so much he constantly hits his head on the rails, or gets his leg stuck in between the bars. So I put the bumper in for his naps as I can watch him during this time. I’m hoping he’ll eventually outgrow this so I don’t have to worry about him hurting himself in there..

You could try a mini crib.

Does the crib fit in your room? Baby was in that in our room from 2-6 months. Then when we moved him into his own room it wasn't a big deal because he knew the sleeping space already.
