Over night stay

So we used to go every other weekend and stay with my in-laws so they could see my son. Well I started a new job and work most weekends. This weekend I get off at 4pm and plan on going down after work on Saturday and staying over and coming home Sunday. They wanted to come get him friday and keep him. He turns 8m on the 2nd. He still has his mommy moments where I'm the only one who can calm him. They don't happen as often though. I think I'm ready to have him stay a night without me, but they live an 1.5-2 hours away.

What do y'all think? What age did y'all let your littles stay a place without you?
