Thyroid synptoms

So after facing troubles with breathing and “allergic reactions” after many blood tests my doctor is now stuck on the thought of my unsolved hives and random “allergic reactions” as signs of thyroid problems. I can be sitting watching tv and I break out in hives down my whole body. They’re itchy and burn terribly. Has anyone ever seen this as a first sign of thyroid issues. And yes, I know it’s not certain, but it does run in my family and they expected me to get it when I was older.
