Rotavirus vaccine reaction ?

I’ve been so lucky never to have to deal with stomach problems or even a ton of real fussiness with my LO...until now. 
The past few days, he has been SCREAMING whenever he gets anywhere close to sleep. At first I thought it was just the sleep recession getting more intense, but it’s been getting worse and it just sounds like he’s in pain. 
. 
It finally dawned on me that his tummy was bothering him, and I have been wracking my mind to figure out what is causing it. My diet hasn’t changed, and I purposefully avoid broccolis and similar veggies because I know how he reacts to those and he hasn’t eaten anything but breast milk. 
The only thing I can think of are the vaccines he has last week. He didn’t react like this the first time around, but could this be a side effect of the rotavirus vaccine? Or even another one? Gripe water seemed to help tonight, but that isn’t a long term solution if something else is happening, right?
What do you ladies think? Also if this is totally normal and I’m overreacting I apologize 😅 sleep deprivation fuels my anxious side 😂
UPDATE: I finally figured it out! He’s cutting his first two teeth and I literally had no idea. Broke out the baby Tylenol and Origel and he’s doing much better!

Vaccine reactions wouldn’t occur a week later, most occur within 15 minutes of receiving the vaccine. The rotavirus vaccine and the others given at this time side effects also don’t include what you’re explaining. It sounds like tummy issues instead or something else. But i wouldn’t think it would be from the vaccine.

Okay from my experience with my daughter I would say possibly! the first one we experienced severe Diarrhea vomiting and irritability for 10 days I went back to her gp twice within the ten days i was so concerned about her dehydrating! Today she went for her needles and the nurse gave me the option of not having the rotavirus she read all the notes and said the same thing happened to her child she said it’s your choice but the purpose of the rotavirus is so they don’t go through this so I just thought she’s had it once I’m not going to risk her ending up in hospital and just went with her vaccinations if I want I can change my mind before her 6 month old ones.. but my mind is made up :) x

This was happening to us and it was due to painful gas. We saw his paediatrician today who told me to avoid capsicum, garlic, onion, broccoli, lentils and beans, and cabbage. He also said to avoid eating stone fruit, apricots, peaches, nectarines and strawberries. So we will see if this changes to my diet will help good luck, I feel your pain 🙃

Just as a tid bit...I’ve heard Oragel actually makes it harder for babies to cut teeth (I think it toughens their gums?) and if it had numbing in it I believe I’ve read they can swallow it and it can numb their throat. Which can cause them to forget to breath. This is just what I’ve been told and read though, so to each their own! 😊

Something similar happened to my LO after both his 2 and 4 month vaccines. I think it was the Rotovirus vaccine although I have nothing concrete to base it off of... He would not poop for about 5 days after his shots and would scream out like he was in pain randomly. I figured it was gas pains. Then when he did poop is was really mucusy and thick. It eventually went away about a week later.
