How to wean off of breast-feeding - help!

Morgan

My daughter is about to turn 11 months old, and she is still breast-feeding. I have absolutely loved the breast-feeding journey, and feel so blessed that it has gone so smoothly! She latched within minutes of being born, and it feels like she has not gotten off the boob since! 🤪 I’m trying to figure out how to start weaning process, but I’m finding a lot of conflicting information online. Hoping for some solid advice from moms who have done this before, or are about to start the process themselves with their April 2019 babies!

She mostly eats food during the day, but she is still waking up every couple of hours in the night time to feed. I am exhausted 😩 and know she can’t be that hungry! I’m pretty sure it’s a comfort thing, especially with her third tooth coming in right now.

My biggest questions are if I should introduce a bottle to her especially to help her fall asleep? Do I go cold turkey? That feels cruel! She’s old enough to not need formula, but do I go straight to cow milk from breast milk?

Anyway, any help or advice is welcome!
