Has anybody ever experienced weight gain or fluid retention while taking metformin for PCOS? My OBGYN told me I have PCOS, and I can’t take BC because of a precious PE, so she suggested the metformin. I have been taking it for over a year now and it has not helped with my menstrual cycle at all. I feel as if I can not loose weight, doesn’t matter if I diet and exercise correctly I still maintain the same weight. I was just curious if anybody else has had an experience similar to mine.
