Eczema treatment doctor recommended ?

Has anyone tried putting a warm damp onesie on while they sleep and dry one on top to stay warm to clear up eczema on the body? 
This is what the doctor recommended but wanted to know if anyone has tried this before. I have never heard of this

Our doctor mentioned this as something we could try. We haven’t though. Our routine is bath (dove baby soap every other or third day), lather her up with aveeno eczema relief lotion then aquaphor on top while she is still a little damp then put on pjs. I also do the lotion and aquaphor in the morning. It has definitely helped. Good luck.

I've never heard of this either, that's crazy. Tesding the other comments I guess this must be a common thing? My oldest had intense eczema for 7 or 8 years, I honestly forgot when it cleared up for good. What worked best for her was lotioning her immediately after a bath/shower with cerave lotion. (Which is what her pediatrician at the time recommended) I very lightly patted her down before putting the lotion on

Yes, we would soak it then put it in the dryer until it was kind of damp so it was warm

How bad is the eczema? My daughter has it too. We haven’t tried a wet onesie because that just sounds super uncomfortable to me but if it works, it might be worth a try. We experimented with so many different lotions and balms but the one that worked like magic and cleared everything up was￼ Dr. Bronner’s Magic Balm. Unfortunately it’s like $10 for a small jar but it works amazingly well.￼

My friend had to do that with her son. After his bath a layer of vanicream followed by pure petroleum jelly vasoline then a wet onesie wrung out really well and then long sleeved footy jammies on top.
