TMI (sensitive topic)

When I first came to America I was 4 years old. From 4-8 I was constantly molested by a close family friend he actually attended my church. Eventually my family found out what he had been doing and we went to court and he ended up in jail. It’s been 10 years since then and I have remained in my Christian faith. My question is am I crazy for being able to forgive this person who caused my family and I so much harm ? God has taught me to forgive but and I being illogical ?
