Have you ever had a stye on your eye?

I currently have one and there is some swelling. My eye has been swollen since Tuesday. How long does swelling normally last. I’ve been applying my medication and doing warm compresses but nothing has work so far

I put a hot tea bag on mine and it helped it go away faster!

I had one before, it was badly swollen. My eye doctor told me to put warm compress on it and also gave me an antibiotic cream and steroid eye drops because it was inflamed underneath my eyelid. It went away in a about a week or two. Go talk to your eye doctor for faster healing.

I think it took a week for mine to go away? I woke up one morning with eyelid swollen shut. Went to the doctor and got some gel to put in my eye i think once or twice a day. If it gets worse or doesnt start to look better in a few days i would go back to the doctor
