Was your second labor like your first?

Question

If you’ve had two babies already, how did your second labor compare with the first? Did things happen in the same way? My water broke first with my son, and I’m curious if that will happen again this time, or if I will have contractions first, or what. I have been having mild cramping today and lower back pain so I’m wondering if I’m starting to get contractions? I only experienced them at the hospital with my son but I remember they felt just like cramps to me. I’m also very curious if I will go around the same time as my first (38+3) I’m 38 weeks today! I know that could go either way though haha. Share your experiences!

My first my water broke at 38 6, I didn’t go into labour right away but headed to the hospital reasonably soon after, I had a ob, he said I’d need to be induced so after a couple hours I was. Laboured hard all night. At 8am I was a 5 I think, felt like i was going to pass out so I got an epidural to sleep some. After a couple hours I didn’t progress with the epidural so they turned it off, a couple hours later after upping the pitocin I was in hard labour again and at a 10. Pushed about 30 mins and she was born. About 26 hours after my water broke. 
My second my water broke at 38 7, I didn’t go into labour right away. I had a midwife. She wasn’t concerned, said 75% of women go into labour within 24 hours of water breaking, said to sleep on it and reevaluate in the morning. 8am after an amazing sleep (first in months) no contractions. Drank a midwife brew. 12pm no change, agreed to come in at 2 pm about 22 hours after my water broke to be induced. 12:20 I called her back and told her I’d meet her at the hospital. I went from nothing to 10 / 10 pain in one contraction. Got to the hospital. She checked me I was at a 3. Got in the tub for about an hour and a half. Got out of the tub cause it was getting too much. Did gas and air for a couple mins and asked for an epidural (this was not what I wanted but I had let the pain get be over whelming and couldnt handle, I though 12 more hours of that) she tried to talk me out of it but I was firm, so after about 10 mins she said ok I’ll Order it, I just need to check you first. I get into the bed, she says I’m a 7, I get another contraction and she says nope I was wrong your a 10 and giving birth right now. I get onto hands and knees and he’s born like 5 mins later. 
So over all, it started the same but the experience was extremely different.

With my first I woke with regular contractions and after timing them for about an hour or 2 my water broke. I had him 13 hours later. Pushed for 2.5 hours. 
With my second I started having contractions one evening. They became regular and I went to the hospital. My water didn’t break until my midwife was doing a check. I was at 8cm at the point. Labor was roughly 10 hours from the time my contractions started until I had her. I pushed a whole 3 minutes with her.
