Rolling Night Baby Syndrome 🤨😩 I'm

Devon - 💙 3 Sweet Boys 💕 Baby Girl Feb 2021💕

So my little son is a little bit of a late bloomer 🤷😘 and at 7 1/2 months just started rolling last week from back to tummy. The last two days he has mastered tummy to back and has been rolling all around the carpet getting where he wants to go. You can see it in his face, he is so excited about this! As am I, it's a huge milestone for him.

The problem is the past 2 nights he is a disaster at bedtime. Rolling onto his tummy and trying to roll back but he can't and instead of laying there and sleeping and loving belly sleep, he screams and cries and loses his mind. So I'm going upstairs multiple times to roll him back over, which ultimately pisses him off more, and then he screams and cries even more. 🤔😩 I'm so tired tonight. It's been relentless.

Anyone else?

I had him in a sleep sack until about a week ago where we transitioned him out because I felt concerned because the top of his sleep sack seemed a little bit bunched up and loose and I was very worried about him rolling and getting stuck and getting his face stuck in the bunch of the sleep sack and him suffocating during the night while I'm sleeping. ANXIETY. 🤷 The Sleep sac was the correct size, it said 6 to 12 months but it was still a little bit loose and long and the one size down was tight and his feet could not lay out comfortably.

What is everyone else doing about this? Is your baby still in a sleep suit? Does this help the flailing about & rolling?

My youngest son is 3 and 1/2 and I don't remember him doing this so I'm starting to feel like a FTM and clueless at this point. (And exhausted and frustrated!)

Help a tired mom out!!

EDIT: OMG here he is. First 40 minutes he's EVER slept on his tummy. Do I leave him? I have two older kids, one 6 years old and one is 3 years old and I just never had a video monitor before, which I think causes more paranoia than good sometimes 😭
