IUI success stories!?

Our next step is IUI. I have unexplained infertility. Any success stories!? I’m tempted to move right to IVF because I haven’t seen a lot of people be successful.

I got pregnant on first IUI after two miscarriages over the course of ~5 years of trying to conceive. Currently in week 15, so fingers crossed!🤞🏼The fertility issues and miscarriages were unexplained for me also. I'm glad it worked and honestly, the procedure isn't that bad, even with the hormones and everything. I think we would've tried IUI a few times anyway just because it was relatively easy. (Also our insurance is good, so I know this isn't an option financially for everyone.) But I also totally understand going straight to IVF if that's your gut feeling!

You should prob check with your doc and insurance first. Our insurance requires 6 iui’s before we can move to IVF.
Your doc probably won’t even give you the option to choose which route you want to go either. They do the iui first because it’s the least invasive and it can work for a lot of people.  If you don’t need to go through IVF don’t put yourself through all that. 
Most RE’s recommend 3 IUI’s then moving to IVF if their not successful. 
Talk to your doctor first before your determined and get disappointed if it’s not their protocol!
