Round ligament pain?

Question

Can someone tell me if this sounds like round ligament pain, or is it something else? First time mom, so I’m not sure what is normal. 
Here it goes:
I’m 17 weeks today and last night/all day today so far I have had kind of a dull pain/cramp/ache in my low abdomen kinda on the sides. 
When I’ve previously experienced what I thought was round ligament pain it was just a very quick sharp pain after standing up quickly or sneezing that would go away quickly. - what I am experiencing now is more constant. 
Does this sound like round ligament as well, or something else? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Mine doesn’t really feel crampy. Mine is like sudden sharp intense pains if I get up too fast or roll over too fast. But that doesn’t mean that your cramps aren’t the stretching, could just be a different sensation from it!

I had this earlier this week and it freaked me out! I consulted 4 people, and only one said she only every experienced round ligament pain as sharp pains. My midwife, friend who is a childbirth educator, and my sister in law all said that crampiness in the lower muscles can also be round ligament pain. They also said sometimes it happens when you've been doing a little too much and your body hasn't adjusted yet. If it feels better after resting especially (like it did for me), it's just the body trying is to slow down! Get some rest mama 💆🏽‍♀️

I’ve had this a couple of times. I think it’s just the uterus and ligaments stretching. I’ve had scans since having this feeling and everything was normal

I say, when in doubt call your doctor. Pain shouldn't last. And if you have doubts you shouldn't  stress your self you. Call the doctor and explain how you are feeling. A nurae will give you better medical advice than any of us :) <3 although we are pretty awesome, you do not want to be stressted out either.

When I have round ligament pain its not really that painful, it’s just a quick tight pain that kinda throws me off a bit but for me it’s really short lived and only happens when I breathe to deeply in certain potions or just get up to stand from laying down suddenly. It’s not crampy, it’s only on one side and lasts no longer then 5-10secs

My round ligament pain kinda burns like i tore something. Ita not very crampy it just actually hurts and is sore to touch or move!!
