Medela vs Spectra breast pump?

Trying to decide between these two breast pumps! Pros, cons, general comments appreciated!

I have the spectra S1 and absolutely love it. I think the difference between s1 and s2 is the s1 doesn’t have to be plugged in to use it. It is chargeable so you can use it anywhere without an outlet and you only have to charge it once every couple days. You can also pump while it is charging. I used a Medela in the hospital and it was lovely but it was a hospital grade one so they work better than the ones at home. I would recommend the spectra since it worked well for me, parts were simple to clean and loved that it didn’t have to be plugged in.

I have both the spectra and the Medela, and the spectra is by far my favorite. I get over an ounce more than I do with the Medela, and my nipples don’t get sore whatsoever. The only thing i liked better about the Medela is that the flanges were able to be removed so it was compatible with basically any pumping bra. But I just ended up buying a cheap sports bra from walmart and cutting slits in the cups that I could slide the spectra flanges through. Works great.

Hands down best pump. Closed system so no milk in tubing that can ruin the machine (medela is open and that will happen) very quiet, lightweight, has timer, has nightlight, personalize your own settings and gentle on nipples. 
I used medela symphony while my daughter was in the hospital and I hated it. Had my dad grab my spectra from home when coming to see us and made a world of difference.

I have the S1, but that doesn’t really matter. My personal is a spectra and work provides a multiuser medela, so I use both. Spectra parts are SO much easier to clean and there are fewer of them. You can use avent bottles on the spectra flanges as a backup. It is gentler and you can customize the pump session to closer to how your baby nurses. It is a closed system so you don’t have the potential for mold. Hands down a far superior product to medela.

Spectra S2Plus
This was the one I ordered based on recommendations on here and from friends. I ordered it through Edgepark. My insurance won’t let me receive it until I hit 7 months, but Edgepark allows you to order early and they will hold your order until your insurance says you are eligible to receive it. Excited to try it!

I have the S1 and love it. It’s portable and runs off of a battery.! Plus the night light is nice and it’s very quiet
