How come yall had early scans before 7 weeks

I'm high risk and have had 6 miscarriages and no successful pregnancies yet

Sometimes Drs do it if they’ve had losses or high risk. I had 3 MC but I refused ultrasound before 8 weeks.. So I saw baby at 9.5 weeks and that’s when I saw my first also.

Some who have had a loss, or are considered high-risk, get ultrasounds done earlier and more often.

i had an ectopic pregnancy a year ago, i got pregnant again and had an ultrasound at 5 weeks to make sure my baby was in my uterus!

It’s standard practice with my doctor. She always does them regardless if someone is high risk or not. She’s not your average OB tho she does an US at every appt and does them herself rather than a tech. My first pregnancy I got like 20US it was awesome😁

Because i got pregnant through ivf

I got one at 8 weeks because I had an ectopic pregnancy before that. It could’ve killed me so they wanted to make sure it wasn’t happening again.
