Nursery

My 12 month old has been in nursery for a month and since she has started she comes home with a sore bum and bruises.... neither of which the staff acknowledge to me on pick up. They use water for nappy changes but use a different brand of nappies to what we have. Is it possible that it’s the nappy brand? We swap between 3 brands at home all the time and she’s never ever had a sore bum since she’s been born.... are they being rough with her?! Poor baby, her skin has crinkled up it’s so sore, god knows what they do..... she recovers during the days she’s at home and then it returns when she goes to nursery which says a lot.

I actually came to pick her up early one day to find she was mid nappy change, she was crying her eyes out and the worker wasn’t consoling her or chatting to her.... she was clearly upset.... another worker intercepted me whilst I tried to go to her, trying to distract me with pictures taken and explaining that she doesn’t like her nappy being changed 🙄.

I also don’t even know how she got the oddly placed and oddly shaped bruises all over her legs as well.... it could be the other children or it could be a fall. When is it warranted that they tell me something has happened for a bruise to form? They only ever relay positive experiences on pick up so I don’t really know if something minor has happened....

I don’t want to go guns blazing as I don’t want them to single her out in retaliation when she’s there. It’s an ofsted outstanding nursery, and other parents have only said good things about it to me.... should I give it more time?
