I’ve only read one Tamara Pierce probably 15 years ago, but I can’t remember which one it was. The end had something about the main love interest taking off his glove slowly and that somehow proved he was the one who wrote the love letters because he was wearing a ring? Wish I could remember which one lol

That is a name I haven't heard in a long time. I read her Circle of Magic series back in middle School.
